Veew Studio was engaged to support the redevelopment of a heritage-listed building in the Newcastle suburb of The Hill, with the new works designed by Curious Practice. The site is also within a heritage conservation area and is surrounded by other listed heritage items, which made visual impact a central issue in the assessment.

We worked with the project's heritage consultants to prepare a photomontage package showing the proposal from key public vantage points. We also prepared a view sharing assessment responding to concerns raised by neighbours. Council approved the application, avoiding the need for Land and Environment Court proceedings.
